Week starting 26th January

Aries

While after the Sun, Mercury and Mars all left your career sector last week and after Venus had just left before moving into the new week things have dialled back, this professional year is starting to show its true colours. The Sun was only in your career sector for a month, Mars for six weeks, Mercury for 19 and Venus for 24 days and while this was the team that has managed to get the year off to an empowered start, this has allowed the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment to take the wheel. Not only is Juno here until the end of March, but the same aspects that the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars made to the South Node in your work sector and to Uranus in your income sector during the first three weeks of the year, she is not only starting to form but will continue to maintain. As the Moon moves through your income sector from Monday to Wednesday, it will connect with the forces that will continue to shape things for months to come.

Taurus

After a hectic and high traffic week last week, the planets that within the space of just five days all returned to your career sector, are now settled into place and will be for the rest of the week. While as you move into the new week the Sun is just five days into his month long transit through your career sector and Mars just three days into his six week transit, this is Mercury's first, last and only full week here. It is in the heart of the week that Mercury will catch up with Venus, creating an alignment that will peak on Thursday but will remain locked together for the rest of the week, putting heart and mind on the same page. This comes just as a friendly aspect between Mars and Pluto in your career sector peaks, bringing the planets of war and revolution together, just as in his first weekend here in two years, Mars is firing up your professional passions, fighting and competitive spirit.

This is when this new professional year starts to gain some serious momentum.

Gemini

Thanks to the Moon's departure from your career sector over the weekend, this has left you with more than just a chance to move into the new working week with your professional instincts and imagination fuelled, finger on the pulse and ear to the ground from the start. While this was an ordinary monthly visit, this first visit for the year was also the last before Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams not only leaves on Tuesday, but not to return here again for another 150 years. This is not the end of the push to get this professional year up to speed or even the most active months of the year on the career front, but it is the beginning of the end of an era that has brought a chance to cement your professional dreams and aspirations for the future. Saturn, the planet with the resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes will stay on for another three weeks, with Venus and Mercury returning by then to take over from where he leaves off.

Cancer

While the Moon will leave your career sector on Monday, just starting the week here was always going to be an advantage. As well as a chance to move into the new working week with your professional instincts sharp, finger on the pulse and ear to the ground from the start, this first visit since the two planets that began the year in retrograde motion here turned direct was always going to be a chance to provide the push needed to get things moving. However, this will have even bigger implications, for while the Moon will leave on Monday so will be gone when on Tuesday Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams will return to spend the next 13 years here, with a chance to ensure you are emotionally and intuitively engaged and aware from the start. With Saturn, the planet with the resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes less than three weeks away from returning to spend over two years here, this is the dawn of a major new chapter.

This is something that Jupiter will capitalise on when he returns to your income sector in June to be your biggest year for income growth and expansion in over a decade.

Leo

When Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos left your work sector on Friday, he not only brought his own six week push to fire up your work passions, fighting and competitive spirit to an end, but a five day period that had seen the Sun, Mercury, Venus and the Moon, wrapping up the first New Moon of 2026 leave. This ended the push to get things up to speed, as well as a busy start to the year. However, all this does is allow you to change gear with the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment not only staying on until the end of March but will keep things locked together on the income, work and career fronts. Over the course of the first three weeks of the year the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars all formed a friendly aspect to the South Node in your income sector and to Uranus in your career sector as they moved through, with Juno starting to do the same.

The Moon's return to your career sector on Monday, just as Uranus moves into his last full week in retrograde motion here, will bring things into even closer alignment on the income, work and career fronts, along with a chance to regroup.

Virgo

After a slow or a business as usual start to the new professional year, things have moved into high gear as Venus moves into her second week in your work sector, the Sun and Mars their first full week here and Mercury, his first, last and only full week. It was Mars' return last Friday that brought a game changing five days period to an end, that saw the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars not only all return, but just as the Moon was making its first visit for the year. Mars might have been the last planet to return, but this is the warrior planet's first chance in two years to fire up your work passions, fighting and competitive spirit. Meanwhile, when the Moon returns to your career sector from Wednesday to Friday, as well as returning to sharpen your professional instincts, as it moves through, it will move into a friendly aspect to the Sun and all four planets in your work sector including Pluto, the planet of change and transformation, who has been preparing for this moment for most of 2025.

Libra

While the Moon left your work sector over the weekend, even in ordinary times this would be an advantage, allowing you to move into the new working week with your instincts sharp, your finger on the pulse and ear to the ground from the start. While that is still the case, the Moon's first visit for the year was also the last before on Tuesday Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams and the planet that has been shaping things since he returned in 2012, leaves. Until when Neptune left last year but then retrograded back in to finish what he started, this time there will be no turning back and it will be another 150 years until he returns. With Saturn, the planet that for the last three years has been giving you the resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes, staying on for another three weeks and Mercury returning next week with a chance to get your head in the game, Neptune's final hours are about having the dream that you can continue to work towards.

Scorpio

While the Moon will leave your work sector on Monday, this is more than just a chance to move into the new week with your instincts sharp, your finger on the pulse and ear to the ground from the start. While this first visit for the year and since the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior princess of the cosmos turned direct here was always going to be a valuable chance to check in, the real advantage comes in the timing. While the Moon will have left by then, this will ensure that when Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams returns to spend the next 13 years in your work sector on Tuesday you are emotionally engaged and aware from the start. This is the start of a major new chapter that within three weeks, will have the support of Saturn, the resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes, who will be here until April 2028.

While the start of something new, this is something you began preparing for last year.

Sagittarius

The timing of the Moon's return to your work sector on Monday will do more than just get the new working week off to a positive start across the income, work and career fronts. The week begins with a friendly aspect between the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment in your income sector and the South Node in your career sector starting to come off its peak on Sunday but not starting to separate until Tuesday. When the Moon returns on Monday, it will move into a friendly aspect to both, temporarily creating a grand trine of positive energy across the income, work and career fronts. However, this first visit to your work sector for the year and the last before Uranus turns direct here next week is also a window into the forces that will continue to shape things for months to come.

Where a focus on the money has until now dominated things, there is now a more even spread.

Capricorn

The Moon's return to your work sector from Wednesday to Friday couldn't come with better timing. Coming full circle from having begun the year here, this was always going to be a valuable chance to check in and with a full lunar cycle under your belt, get a feel for how work and job matters have progressed in these early weeks of the new professional year. However, apart from returning in the heart of the working week in time to ensure you have your finger on the pulse and ear to the ground when you need it most, this is also the Moon's only visit while the Sun, Mercury and Venus are in your income sector and the first of two visits the Moon will make while Mars is here. The Moon will form a friendly aspect to the Sun and all four planets in your income sector as it moves through, making Wednesday to Friday and especially positive and empowering few days across the income, work and career fronts.

Aquarius

Thanks to the Moon's departure from your income sector over the weekend, there is not only a chance to move into the new working week and into Neptune's final hours before leaving here on Tuesday with a sharp nose for money, but with a renewed sense of confidence and awareness on the job front. Starting with a Full Moon in the early days of the year Jupiter, in retrograde motion in your work sector, has received pushback from a parade of planets as they moved through a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart. In the closing weeks of your old solar year and of a two year Mars cycle, there was serious pushback when it came to knowing when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off. With those planets gone and in his first full week in Aquarius, Mars firing up your warrior and competitive spirit, the Moon's friendly aspect to Jupiter as it moved through, has brought a timely boost to your confidence and awareness on the income and job fronts.

Pisces

While for the majority of the week it is business as usual, as the focus starts to shift more to the money, there is a chance to draw on what was invested in the final months of 2025. At the same time, ahead of the Moon's return to your work sector over the weekend, as the week progresses, a need to keep your mind and your options open will also increase. The Moon returns to your work sector every four weeks and it is always important to go into this with an open mind, but especially as this will begin the lead up to the second Full Moon of 2026. This is a Full Moon that halfway between the Sun's last visit to your work sector six months ago and the next and at what can be the least active point in any year on the job front, can help to jump start things.

While Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion is still five months away from returning to begin your biggest year for job growth and expansion in over a decade, the Full Moon could be on an undercover mission to set things up for opportunities or developments that are still months away.
