Week starting 3rd August

Aries

As she gets ready to leave your work sector on Friday, something that will end all planetary activity on the job front until the Sun and Mercury return later in the month, Venus is benefiting from both the Moon's return to your career sector last week and its return to your income sector from Wednesday to Friday. As well as sharpening your professional instincts and forming a friendly aspect to Venus as it moved through your career sector last week, ahead of the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment's return next week, this put her approach on your over the horizon radar. With Juno able to both bridge the gap before the Sun and Mercury can return to your work sector later in the month and spend time before they return revisiting your professional resolutions, this has taken away a lot of the urgency. In the meantime, having the Moon return to your income sector on Wednesday and stay on until just after Venus leaves on Friday will ensure your nose for money is sharp while as the planet of money, she is working to both attract job potential and the money and steer work and job matters in a lucrative direction.

Taurus

After the North Node's return to your career sector last Monday and a Full Moon here two days later, things have dialled back a little this week or at least the intensity or any pressure from the Moon's clash with the Sun. While this was the Full Moon that at some point during the Sun's month long visit to your home and family sector will put your work/life balance to the test, just as while the North Node has returned to spend until March 2028 providing a sense of professional direction, its partner the South Node will continue to monitor your work/life balance. While both planets in your career sector are in retrograde motion and the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment will retrograde back out next week, things are about to open up on the job front much earlier in the year than would normally be the case. Over six weeks before the Sun is due to return to your work sector, Venus' return on Friday will not only get things off to an early start, but with immediate implications across the income, work and career fronts.

Gemini

While the Moon will leave your career sector on Monday, having returned over the weekend and with a chance to move into the new working week with your professional instincts sharp from the start, was always going to be an advantage. While this is the Moon's ordinary monthly visit and is something that every four weeks brings a chance to sharpen your professional instincts and get your professional bearings, it is the timing that makes this significant. Partly because this has given you a jump on the new working week before it begins, but mainly because it has been just seven days since after 18 months, the North Node left your career sector last Monday. Having spent since January 2025 providing a constant and unwavering sense of professional direction, while the North Node is no longer there, its presence can still be felt and this is something that you have been able to revisit, lock into and capture.

The Moon will continue to return every four weeks and this will help to keep this professional year on track and especially when new doors start opening on the job front next month.

Cancer

The timing of the Moon's return to your career sector on Monday was always going to be an advantage. While an ordinary monthly visit and something that every four weeks is a chance to sharpen your professional instincts and get your professional bearings, here from Monday to Wednesday this was always going to give you a jump on the new working week. However, as both the Moon's first visit since all three planets here turned retrograde and the only visit while the Sun is in your income sector, this is doubly significant this time. It was over the course of July that all three planets in your career sector turned retrograde, with Saturn and the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior princess of the cosmos still at a standstill after their retrograde turn late last month.

Since the Moon was last here, the whole focus of this professional year has shifted, making this an important chance to check in. Meanwhile, after clashing last week as a Full Moon, a friendly aspect to the Sun and Jupiter in your income sector as it moved through will put them back in harmony.

Leo

By the time you reach Tuesday, there will be a sense that the dynamics of this professional year are starting to change. It is on Tuesday that just over six weeks after returning to your career sector during Mars' final days here that Chiron, the planet of wisdom, knowledge and healing will turn retrograde. Having returned in time to catch Mars' final days but also to ensure there was no sudden drop off, Chiron is focused less on making things happen and more on the learning experience. After a busy first half of the year, there is a lot to reflect on.

In the meantime, this not only put Chiron, currently the only planet in either of your two professional houses in retrograde motion but having left at the end of March, next week the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment will retrograde back into your work sector for a do over. By the time the Moon returns to your work sector on Wednesday, Chiron will be in retrograde motion and Juno just a week away, while in Venus' final two days in your income sector and before they both leave on Friday, this will ensure your professional instincts are sharp while putting heart and gut on the same page.

Virgo

After last week's Full Moon in your work sector and the North Node's return last Monday, things have settled back and especially when it comes to any tension from the Moon's clash with the Sun and Jupiter and the lunar nodes' new monitoring of how well you know when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off. As this is likely to be a busy week on the job and career fronts but then dialling back in the second half of next week, this has been the right reminder at the right time. It is next week and within the space of 48 hours that Mars will not only leave your career sector on Tuesday and the dwarf planet Ceres next Thursday, but in the middle of this the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment will retrograde back out of your work sector next Wednesday. While Mars will be working to pack as much into his final days as possible, it is just as the Moon's return to your career sector on Friday and with your professional instincts are sharp that he will catch up and align with Ceres, giving you a better sense of when, where and how to channel his warrior and competitive spirit.

Libra

While the Moon will leave your work sector on Monday, as well as a chance to move into the new working week with an intuitive read on work and job matters from the start, into Mercury's last seven days in your career sector with a mix of intuition and logic, imagination and intelligence to draw on. This is the Moon's first visit since the North Node left your work sector last Monday, with a chance to tap back into the sense this has left you with. At the same time, over two months after returning with what is normally a 14 to 15 day chance to work smarter, get your head in the game, think on your feet and become mentally sharper, Mercury is finally getting ready to leave. Having returned on 1st June, Mercury returned in time to guide you through the final four weeks of Jupiter's 12 month quest for professional growth and expansion, through the Sun's month long visit and as Venus moved through and now he is getting ready to leave next Monday.

However, Mercury is holding on until the Moon's return on Sunday and it in turn will hold on until Mars returns two days later to take it from here.

Scorpio

What a difference a week can make. While there was no doubt that an alignment with Jupiter during the Sun's first full week in your career sector made last week one of the most empowered weeks of the professional year so far, it may also have been one of the most challenging. Not only did a Full Moon put the pressure on the Sun and Jupiter, but just as the lunar nodes had returned to begin a 20 month policing of your work/life balance. While the lunar nodes won't leave until March 2028 and having the South Node in your work sector will turn next week's Full Moon into a total solar eclipse, it was the Full Moon that put this to the test.

While any tension has dialled back and any reminders have been delivered, it is the Moon's return to your work sector from Monday to Wednesday that will put it back in harmony with the Sun and Jupiter. The Moon's friendly aspect to both the Sun and Jupiter as it moves through will help to restore your confidence, while this first visit since all three planets in your work sector turned retrograde and with two still at a standstill will be a reminder to pace yourself.

Sagittarius

Whether it is Chiron's retrograde turn in your work sector on Tuesday or Venus' departure from your career sector on Friday, the Moon will help you get the most out of both. For Chiron, who returned 10 days before Mars left your work sector in June and just as some busy months were coming to an end, this is the halfway point in a short six week in and six week out visit. Chiron was never interested in maintaining Mars' hectic pace or chasing after anything new and more on the learning experience. While something that will see Chiron retrograde back out next month, he is helping to both process the year so far and prepare for his return in April to spend the next seven years here.

It is during Chiron's first full day in retrograde motion that the Moon will return on Wednesday, the same day that Venus moves into her final two days in your career sector. With the Moon not leaving until a few hours after Venus leaves on Friday, during her final 48 hours, this will put them in harmony, with heart and gut on the same page and with a renewed sense of confidence and awareness on the job and career fronts.

Capricorn

Knowing that when he leaves your work sector next week it will be another two years before he returns as Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos moves into his last full week here, there will only be one speed on his dial. While the six weeks that Mars will spend in your work sector are likely to be some of the busiest of the year, in this last week the gloves will be off and as he works to make the most of every last moment, he will be all gas and no brakes. While there have been reminders in the past when it comes to pacing yourself, there is nothing in this week's stars that will bring any reminders. However, what you do have is the Moon, Venus and the dwarf planet Ceres.

The Moon will move through your work sector from Friday to Sunday, ensuring your instincts are sharp as Mars catches up with the dwarf planet Ceres, whose last deep dive into your needs and priorities on the job front for another four years ends next week. Along with Venus' return to your career sector on Friday, this will make it easier to judge when, where and how to channel Mars' warrior and competitive spirit and a need to have something to fight for.

Aquarius

While the Moon will leave your income sector on Monday, this is a chance to move into not just the new working week but Mercury's last week in your work sector with a lucrative sense of direction from the start. While after two months and still not up to full speed after his direct turn last month, Mercury is already encouraging you to work smarter, but this is also a chance for some future proofing. Mercury returned on 1st June for what is normally a 14 to 15 day chance to work with this smart and practical planet. Instead, his early return and eventual retrograde turn saw him return in time to have your head in the game during the final four weeks of Jupiter's 12 month quest for job growth and expansion and while the Sun and Venus moved through, he is now getting ready to leave.

This should be the end of all planetary activity on the job front, but instead the busiest part of the year is still in front of you. Leaving next Monday, Mercury will hold on long enough for the Moon to return on Sunday and it in turn will hold on longer enough for Mars' return two days later to kick off the busiest seven weeks of the year.

Pisces

After both the Sun and Jupiter's alignment in your work sector and last week's Full Moon, things are a lot more settled this week and with it, a chance to catch your breath before even bigger developments next week. While last week's Full Moon is something that at some point during the Sun's month long visit to your work sector will see them clash, putting how well you know when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off to the test, with a lot more intensity. This wasn't just in the heart of the working week and just as the alignment between the Sun and Jupiter peaked, but two days after the lunar nodes had returned to spend the next 20 months policing how well you know when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off. No sooner had they returned than this was being put to the test.

However, a few days can make all the difference and the Moon has not only moved on, but from Monday to Wednesday will move through your income sector and form a friendly aspect to the Sun and Jupiter as it moves through. Meanwhile, this is a chance to catch your breath, because having the South Node in your work sector is going to turn next week's New Moon into a total solar ecli.
