Month of October

Aries

While it was last month that a combination of Chiron's departure from your income sector, something that ended all planetary activity on the income side of the financial fence for the year and Venus' return to your financial sector, that flipped the dynamics of this financial year, on both fronts things are still evolving. While there are no more planets in your income sector, the Moon will continue to return every four weeks, each time sharpening your nose for money and acting as a trigger for either untapped income potential or what is still being generated. As you move into the new month, the Moon has just left your income sector, giving you a sharp nose for money from the start.

By the time the Moon comes full circle from 26th October to 28th October, the Sun will be in your financial sector and they will clash as a Full Moon, this time energising both sides of the financial fence. In between, the focus is not only on the other side of the financial fence, but where there is something special developing. By the time you move into the new month it has been three weeks since Venus, the planet of money returned for what is normally a 24 day transit through your financial sector but instead, a retrograde turn on 3rd October will keep her here until 25th October.

Even then, once back in direct motion, she will return in early December to end the year here. At the same time, on 1st October Mercury will return to your financial sector for what is normally a 14 to 15 day chance to use his smart head for money to get your head in the game and on top of money matters. Except he too is slowing down and on 24th October, a day before Venus retrogrades back out, he will turn retrograde as well.

This is going to keep Mercury here until 6th December, by which point Venus will be back and between them, they will keep things active and evolving for the rest of the year. When the Moon moves through your financial sector from 12th October to 14th October, as well as sharpening your financial instincts, it will align with both, putting gut, heart and mind on the same page, while the laws of attraction are in effect and both new and old doors are open. By the time the Sun returns on 23rd October, you will have a massive head start.

Taurus

While there are no planets in your financial sector until the Sun returns later next month, as this is the point in each year when the solar spotlight will always shift onto your financial situation and money matters, this is the norm for this time of year and has been since Mercury left in the New Year. However, the Moon will continue to return every four weeks and when it does, as well as sharpening your financial instincts and giving you a chance to check in on money matters, it will make contact with some powerful planets that can help to fuel your financial confidence, instincts and imagination. This makes it important to have your finger on the pulse and ear to the ground when the Moon moves through your financial sector from 14th October to 16th October.

This is the point in the month when you want to be dealing with money matters. Meanwhile, for the rest of the month, the focus is on the income side of the financial fence, even though the most active and busy months of the year on the income front are behind you. That is because you have had Uranus, a slower outer planet in your income sector since April and he is here now, helping to keep things on the right track until 2033.

It was in July that Uranus formed a friendly aspect to Pluto in your career sector, for what was the first of five times between now and May 2028. The Sun will always spend the first three weeks of October in your work sector and has already formed a friendly aspect to Uranus and Pluto since returning last month. The Moon will connect with all three when it moves through your income sector from 1st October to 3rd October, something that every four weeks can sharpen your nose for money and act as a trigger.

As well as getting the month off to a positive start on the income, work and career fronts, because this is the Moon's first visit since Uranus turned retrograde last month and the last before Pluto turns direct on 16th October, it is the only one while they are both in retrograde motion and holding the doors open to the past, second chances and untapped potential at the same time. Uranus will remain in retrograde motion for the rest of the year and while Pluto will be back in direct motion when the Moon comes full circle from 28th October to 30th October, by then Venus, the planet of money will have retrograded back into your work sector on 25th October.

Gemini

It was over a period of 11 days from 17th September to 28th September that the dynamics of the financial year itself shifted and set the scene for not only this month, but the rest of the year. It began when having retrograded back into your financial sector in June with a chance to review the financial resolutions made earlier in the year Juno, the queen of commitment turned direct. Having reviewed those resolutions, Juno is ready to put them into practice but at the time, Mars was still in your income sector and the warrior planet of the cosmos wasn't about to play second fiddle.

It was their clash a week before Mars left on 28th September that may have created some financial tension but allowed you to move into the final seven days of his war on income roadblocks and barriers fired up, while helping to cement a sense of resolve on the other side of the financial fence. With Mars gone so too is that tension and while the dwarf planet Ceres is staying on in your income sector, slowing ahead of a retrograde turn next month, she won't come close to a clash with Juno, allowing them to mind their own business. Until she leaves on 24th October, Juno will continue to pick up speed and as she does, the resolve to take your financial power back will increase and with the Sun still two months away by that point, the resolve to move money matters forward.

Helping with that will be the Moon's return from 17th October to 19th October. Meanwhile, while Ceres won't turn retrograde in your income sector until next month with Venus, the planet of money turning retrograde in your work sector on 3rd October and Mercury on 24th October, they will work as a team to exploit new and untapped income and job potential for the rest of the year. This will be on full display and in effect when the Moon moves through your income sector from 3rd October to 5th October and when it returns again on 30th October.

Cancer

While as you move into the new month, both sides of the financial fence are heating up, by the end of the first week, the two sides will become disentangled and will go their separate but interdependent ways. Until the final days in September, there was little completion between your two money houses. Pluto is not only in retrograde motion in your financial sector, but surrounded by support while Jupiter, still in his early months in your income sector and of a 13 month quest for income growth and expansion is equally well positioned.

When the Sun, Mercury and Venus moved through your income sector and when Jupiter returned they all clashed with Pluto, but that is behind you. However, what you do have are the lunar nodes, who from their return to your two money houses at the end of July until they leave in March 2028, quietly monitoring a balance between money coming in and money going out. This has prepared you for Mars' return to your income sector at the end of last month and his clash with Pluto on 3rd October.

This is not the first time that planets on the income and financial fronts have clashed and the money gods are working to keep things balanced. However, as the planets of war and revolution, this is when the gloves come off, with Mars fighting to move things forward on the income front, while Pluto is working to hold onto the money you have. By 5th October this will be separating and while this is the same day that the Moon will return to your income sector and it will both align with Mars and clash with Pluto, stringing this out, this can also sharpen your nose for money and act as a trigger.

For the first time this year, this is an even match and Mars and Pluto are going to walk away from this more empowered, adding fuel to Mars' new two month war on income roadblocks and barriers and Pluto's ongoing mission to see you take your financial power back. What will add to the speed that this opposition separates is that, ahead of a retrograde turn on 16th October, Pluto has come to a standstill. By the time the Moon returns to your financial sector from 19th October to 22nd October, Pluto will be back in direct motion while once again, this is going to energise both sides of the financial fence.

Any financial tension this month is a sign that planets on both sides of the financial fence are fighting on your behalf.

Leo

As you move into the new month, you are in a unique situation, in that for the first time this year, apart from the Moon's monthly visits, there is no cosmic activity in either of your two money houses. In reality, you have to look further back than that, for while all cosmic activity in your financial sector, the side of the financial fence where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have ended when the North Node left at the end of July, by the time it returned in January 2025, there had been continuous planetary activity here for decades. On the income side of the financial fence, there have been no major planets that can keep things active for years, but while it was the Sun's departure on the income side of the financial fence that brought all planetary activity in your income sector to an end, the South Node had been here since January 2025.

This is when the lunar nodes returned to begin their 18 month policing of a balance between money coming in and money going out to an end. This puts a lot more importance on the Moon's return to your income sector from 7th October to 9th October and to your financial sector from 22nd October to 24th October. However, this financial year is far from over and instead, on the income side of the financial fence things are just taking a rest.

Just over two months will separate the Sun's departure from your income sector to Mars' return to your income sector on 26th November to begin what is normally a six week war on income roadblocks and barriers, something that will keep him here for the rest of the year but should see him leave in the New Year. Instead, when Mars leaves on 22nd February 2027, it will be by retrograding back, only to return to spend another two months here from 15th May to 15th July 2027. By the time Mars leaves next year, Jupiter will be 11 days away from returning to begin your biggest year for income growth and expansion in over a decade.

Virgo

Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of October in your income sector, the solar spotlight is always on your income situation, matters and options at this time of year. Also a given is that with slow outer planets on the other side of the sky for years if not decades, is that at some point, when the Sun and planets move through your income sector are going to clash. Another given is that at some point during the Sun's month long visit, there will be a Full Moon in your financial sector that will see them clash, putting a balance between money coming in and money going out to the test and potentially creating some financial tension.

That Full Moon is already behind you and so too are the majority of the wakeup calls. If there is going to be any more financial tension, it will be to alert you to where anything is out of balance and by now you should know the tricks and tools to get things back on track. That will be especially so when the Moon comes full circle from last month's Full Moon from 24th October to 26th October.

It helps that the planets on the two sides of the financial fence are on very different tracks and aren't competing for the same slice of your attention. For now, all four planets in your financial sector, the side of the financial fence where it is more about what you do with and how you manage the money you have are in retrograde motion and it will stay that way for the rest of the year. On the other hand, the Sun is looking to the future and to new income potential, with Mercury's departure on 1st October leaving you with a smart head for money and everything needed to get your head in the game.

Right up to when the Sun leaves on 23rd October and especially when the Moon returns to your income sector from 9th October to 11th October, the focus will be on the road ahead and on new income potential. However, two days after the Sun leaves Venus, the planet of money will retrograde back in for a do over and until leaving in early December, her focus will be on the past, second chances and untapped income potential.

Libra

It was last month that a combination of Venus, the planet of money's return to your income sector to begin the first planetary activity on the income side of the financial fence this year and Chiron's departure from your financial sector ended all planetary activity on that side, shifted the dynamics of the year itself. While for the rest of the year it is the income side of the financial fence that is going to dominate, money matters will remain in safe hands. Partly because there has been planetary activity here all year and partly because the Moon will continue to return every four weeks to sharpen your financial instincts and give you a chance to check in on money matters.

As you move into the new month the Moon has just wrapped up its first visit since Chiron left and when it comes full circle from 26th October to 28th October it will be as a Full Moon, something that is going to speak with louder authority. In between, all the action is not only on the income side of the financial fence, but with some exciting developments. By the time you move into the new month, Venus is three weeks into what is normally a 24 day transit through your income sector and she should be working to make her final days as lucrative as possible.

Instead, a retrograde turn on 3rd October won't just keep Venus here until 25th October, but after turning direct next month she will return in early December and will end the year here. At the same time, while Mercury will return on 1st October for what is normally a 14 to 15 day chance to use his smart head for money, to get your head in the game and to think on your feet, he too is slowing ahead of a retrograde turn on 24th October that will keep him here until 6th December. With Venus returning on 4th December, between them they will keep things active on the income front for the rest of the year, just as the dwarf planet Ceres is doing the same on the career front.

Meanwhile, it is before the Sun returns on 23rd October, the point in each year when the solar spotlight will always shift onto your income situation, matters and options, the Moon will move through from 12th October to 14th October. This is something that every four weeks can sharpen your nose for money and act as a trigger.

Scorpio

While there are no planets in your income sector and in his first full month in retrograde motion in your financial sector Uranus is barely moving, there is reason for confidence and this should be a good month on both sides of the financial fence. When, for the first time in 77 years, Uranus returned to your financial sector in July 2025, his retrograde turn a few months later saw him retrograde back out again. Having returned for a do over in April, by the time Uranus again turned retrograde last month, he was far enough in that he won't retrograde back out and is here now, helping to keep money matters on track and on the right path until 2033.

With no planets in your income sector until the Sun returns later next month, there is no active competition and with Uranus still barely moving, no urgency. Instead, he not only begins the month separating from a friendly aspect to the Sun in an intuitive and imaginative part of your chart, but the Moon will do the same when it moves through your financial sector from 1st October to 3rd October. Uranus is the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected and the Sun illuminates things, creating the potential to not only fuel your financial confidence, instincts and imagination, but with the potential for Eureka or lightbulb moments.

With no planets on the other side of the financial fence for Uranus to clash with, the Sun in an intuitive and imaginative part of your chart until 23rd October and Venus, the planet of money retrograding back in there on 25th October, a lack of urgency and sense of confidence at the start of the month is likely to be there for the whole month. There is everything to sustain and nothing to disrupt this, with things getting another boost when the Moon returns again from 28th October to 30th October. In between, the Moon will make its monthly visit to your income sector from 14th October to 16th October, something that every four weeks can sharpen your nose for money and act as a trigger.

As the Moon moves through it will form a friendly aspect to all four planets in your work sector and to Jupiter and Mars in your career sector, making these some of the most potentially lucrative days of the month.

Sagittarius

Despite their clash and the potential for some financial tension towards the end of last month, the two sides of the financial fence are no longer in direct competition and instead, there is reason for confidence on both sides. It was in the 11 day period from the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment's direct turn in your income sector to Mars' departure from your financial sector on 28th September that things could have become heated. It wasn't just due to their opposition, but the place that they were at when it came to a head.

This peaked on the same day that Mars moved into his final seven days in your financial sector and he was determined to keep all the focus on his side of the financial fence. This was the same day that, four days after her direct turn in your income sector, aligned with the Moon and at a friendly aspect to the Sun in your career sector, Juno was determined to start moving things forward on the income front. With neither willing to give an inch, this may have created some financial tension, but in the process added fuel to Mars' financial passions and fighting spirit and Juno's resolve.

Since then, Mars has left and while the dwarf planet Ceres is still in your financial sector, her focus is more on a deep dive into your financial needs and priorities than fighting wars, while her close association with Venus and Mercury in an intuitive and imaginative part of your chart is helping to restore your financial confidence. At the same time, leaving your income sector on 24th October, no longer at a standstill and picking up speed, Juno's resolve to move things forward on the income front has a clear path. Juno and Ceres are never going to clash, so there won't be a repeat of last month's tensions and each is happy to stay in their own lane, though at the same time working to keep things balanced.

Meanwhile, the Moon will make its first visit to your financial sector since Mars left from 3rd October to 5th October, before returning again to sharpen your financial instincts and give you a chance to check in on money matters on 30th October. In between, the Moon will make its last visit to your income sector before Juno leaves from 17th October to 19th October. With Juno in her final week by then, these could be some of the most lucrative days of the month.

Capricorn

Don't be put off or alarmed by any financial tension in the early part of the month, for rather than a sign that something has gone wrong, it is a sign that things are very right. Stirring things up is Mars, whose return to your financial sector at the end of last month has shattered the calm on both sides of the financial fence. Since the Sun left your financial sector in August Jupiter, who returned at the end of June and the South Node, who returned a month later to work with its partner the North Node in your income sector to police a balance between money coming in and money going out, things have been settled.

Jupiter is in your financial sector until July 2027, Pluto is not only in your income sector until 2044 but in retrograde motion and the lunar nodes not leaving your two money houses until March 2028, things are settled, stable and the forces in play are in this for the long haul. At the same time, while the Sun, Mercury and Venus all clashed with Pluto when they moved through your financial sector, even those clashes that may have put a balance between money coming in and money going out to the test were behind you. And then along came Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos, who returned to your financial sector on 28th September to play anything but a slow game.

While other planets returning to your financial sector have clashed with Pluto, these are two alpha male planets, neither willing to back down and when they do start to separate, they will both come away feeling that they are the victor. This is going to fire up your financial passions and fighting spirit and as Mars will spend months preparing for Jupiter's return next year and the start of your biggest year for income growth and expansion in over a decade, this will have long term implications. At the same time, with Pluto surrounded by the support of planets on the job and career fronts and turning direct on 16th October, this is going to power things up on the income front as well.

The Moon's return to your financial sector from 5th October to 7th October and to your income sector from 19th October to 21st October will add more fuel to both sides of the financial fence.

Aquarius

As you move into the new month, you are in the unique position where, apart from the Moon's monthly visits, there are no planets or cosmic activity in either of your two money houses and it is the only time this year that this will happen. While the last planet left your income sector in April, the lunar nodes didn't leave your two money houses until the end of July and by then the faster planets were returning to your financial sector. It wasn't until the Sun left your financial sector last month, something that on the September equinox each year will always see the solar spotlight shift off your financial situation and money matters, that this left your two money houses empty.

And not just for the first time this year, but in decades. By the time the North Node left your income sector at the end of July, it had been there for 18 months and was here when, after 13 years Neptune left and as there had already been planetary activity there years when he returned, you have to go back a lot further to find another month like this. This means that when the Moon returns to your financial sector from 7th October to 9th October, something that will see it come full circle from last month's New Moon, you are able to give money matters your full attention.

The same goes for when two weeks later the Moon returns to your income sector from 22nd October to 24th October, something that every four weeks can sharpen your nose for money and act as a trigger. The Moon will be here when the Sun returns to your career sector on 23rd October, as Mercury turns retrograde there on 24th October and as Venus, the planet of money prepares to retrograde back out on 25th October. A friendly aspect to them and to the dwarf planet Ceres in your work sector as it moves through will make these pivotal days of the month on the income, work and career fronts.

Knowing that when Mars returns to your financial sector at the end of next month, he will be here for the rest of the year and for a good chunk of the first half of next year as he prepares for lucky Jupiter's return in July 2027, even the money gods are ready for a rest.

Pisces

Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of October in your financial sector, the solar spotlight is always on your financial situation and money matters at this time of year. And because there is year round planetary activity on the other side of the sky in your income sector, it is a given that the planets moving through your financial sector are going to clash with them as they move through. These are fleeting and familiar clashes and something that happens every year, is part of the annual pattern and key to maintaining the right balance between money coming in and money going out.

However, the clash with the most intensity and because of its emotional component, is the Full Moon that will always fall in your income sector at some point during the Sun's month long visit. That Full Moon fell shortly after the Sun's return last month, so is already behind you while Venus has already moved through and Mercury will leave on 1st October, with both having already clashed with the planets in your income sector. While until leaving on 23rd October the Sun will do the same, this will simply shine a light on anything out of balance.

While Venus will do the same when she retrogrades back into your financial sector on 25th October for a do over, as the four planets in your income sector are also in retrograde motion, this could act as a trigger for untapped potential on both sides. With the Sun and money matters well supported and the planets in your income sector benefiting from Mars' return to your work sector late last month, where he has teamed up with lucky Jupiter, both sides of the financial fence are well supported and it is more about getting the balance right. This also makes the Moon's return to your two money houses a valuable chance to check in and also test the waters.

You will get that chance when the Moon not only moves through your financial sector from 9th October to 11th October but as a New Moon, something that can give money matters the green light. It is two weeks later that the Moon will return to your income sector from 24th October to 26th October, something that can sharpen your nose for money and act as a trigger for new job and untapped income potential.
